So I know it seems weird to say that the sunny south has the blahs of winter, but it does! Even the breezy 60s, and sporadic barren trees leave one wishing for spring. :) However, we are now wishing for summer since the pine pollen (pretty sure this was where don't eat yellow snow came from) has been in full effect for a few weeks now.
Nothing too exciting has been going on, just going thru life. So I thought I would share what a typical week looks like for us. Sunday morning we go to our awesome church that we LOVE,
Savannah Christian Church and during the first service Josh serves as a small group leader in the Trikes (3-yr-olds), and I help at the kids welcome desk since we have a fairly large kids program. Then we go to 2nd service and head home for relaxing (and laundry hahaha).
Monday and Tuesday are usually running errands and hanging around the house.
Wednesday morning the kids and I go to Bible Study Fellowship. It is amazing, and a national organization! See if there's one near you, it's pretty fabulous! The kids LOVE their classes they go to there also. They always ask me if it's Wednesday yet. :)
Thursday morning the kids and I go to PWOC which is (Protestant Women of the Chapel) a women's Bible study on base. It is all morning and super fun. Usually we end up eating lunch with some other moms and kids.
Friday...home usually recovering from two days in a row out and busy.
And Saturday..the kids' 2nd favorite day because Daddy's home :) And we do lots of laundry. Haha.
Pretty low key. Just busy enough! Josh of course works all week, and his days are long and never the same. Always good for a couple stories at the end of the day. And if you had clearance, I could share them with you. Hahaha. Just kidding. But, as the Army says, OPSEC is every one's responsibility. (Operational Security). But he does like his job.
Also, here's a current snapshot of what the kids are up to now:

In this picture, Renae had just gotten caught painting her toenails. Surprisingly she did a fairly good and mess free job. All I had to do was take off white paint from her toes and get her pink polish down from where she couldn't reach it. And then I did her toes. :) She is always 'taking care' of something. Goofy is usually her 'baby'. Hahaha. And she loves to sing and color and do puzzles.
It's kind of funny---Renae eats just like her Daddy and Jack eats just like me. If the kids had say some chicken, a cheese stick, green beans, and strawberries for lunch, Renae will immediately eat the chicken, then the cheese, then the rest. And you might have to tell her to eat the beans. Jack will eat the beans, ask for more, then the strawberries, then maybe eat a bit of the rest. He LOVES his fruits and veggies. Renae and Daddy eat them cause Mommy says to. :) Hahaha.
Well, hope you enjoyed the update...I should post again soon. We have an important event this weekend!
