Wow. What new level of fun is this homeschool adventure?!? Hm. Jury's still out. Let me present a week (or so) in the life of a journal at our house. ((Who's journal this is, shall remain nameless...kind of)) ((Also, I corrected all spelling in this presentation, while it does detract, it makes it read-able))
April 25th:
I'm not going to write a story. I love nobody in my family except Daddy because he is my Daddy and I like to talk to him.
April 27th:
Erasers are my favorite. My favorite erasers are cake erasers. They are not my favorite. They are dumb. The end.
April 28th:
Pens are my favorite to write with. They are not for writing on the wall. **(somehow this took 8 lines to write)
May 2nd:
I like to write about nothing. Nothing is like I'm not going home. Nothing is like I'm not going home. I'm not going home. The end.
May 3rd:
I am not going to write about anything. I do not love Mom. Satan is not my friend. But the God did not kill us.
May 4th:
I am not going to write about anything. I love you but my Mommy is mean. But God did not kill us. But God did not do what is right= lie. God does not lie.
May 5th:
I am not wanting to kiss my Mommy but the dumb Satan is not my friend. But the dumb Satan is not my best friend. But the dumb Satan in my heart...not.
May 8th:
I'm going to the park to play at the park. I love the park I love to play at the park. The park is my favorite. My favorite part of the park is the climbing.
PS- I think we might have turned a corner. (I told them they couldn't use anymore negative words for a week. HAHAHA)
PPS- THIS is what I'm deciphering :) HAHAHA!

Oh Boy.
I mean, how do you sum up all that's happened this year? ((I backdated a previous blog entry so my "Event" will appear chronologically, and to cover up explain nearly 4 months of not posting!))
Y'all, I should be dead. Twice.
But God still has work for me to do. I get to bring more glory to His Name here! He has done so much for me...so much only He could do. I hope to document those big events soon. Maybe even today!
It's one thing to say that God knows the plans He has for me (Jer 29:11), that He knows the exact number of my days (Ps 139:16, Job 14:5), that God put me here in this time and place on purpose (Acts 17:26)...and it's one thing to know these things in my mind are absolutely true--
And it's an entirely other thing altogether to KNOW these truths experiencially! When the ideas are purified...and you are left shaking...realizing that the only security you have is in KNOWING Christ, and feeling safe in Him. He controls my hours, my breaths, my Life.
I have heard many times over the years from Christians that "you're just one heart attack away from eternity" or "live like Christ returns tomorrow"...or the modified version "live today like you'll see Christ tomorrow"...and we should. But the reality is, until our lives are completely OUT of our control do we truly realize that we really didn't have any control to begin with. I know I lived like I thought I had control. I plan, I procrastinate, I wallow, I wait, I whine, I, I, I... instead of thank you, thank you, thank you.
We are all undeserving of even our next breath. But God loves, so graciously loves us and uses us to bring glory and others to Him. I am so grateful for more days to do just that.
