Jack Lately!

I'm probably getting a little carried away, but now that I can finally blog pictures, I decided to overview August for you. Jack is growing so quickly! By now he's over 13 lbs and getting taller and taller. HE. IS. SO. SMILEY. :) Enjoy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Renae!!

Renae has been having all sorts of fun with new toys. We've been off visiting friends the last two weekends, first in Augusta, then in Atlanta. She has been learning all sorts of new ways to play. See for yourself! :) This girl is very very busy. And super cute.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

GROWING!

There is a reason that word is in all caps. Let's just compare for a minute:

Birth:
Renae- 6lb 9oz, 19in
Jack- 6lb 3oz, 17 1/2in


2 Months:
Renae- 9lb 6oz, 21in
Jack- 12lb 13oz, 24 1/2in

Who knows what we'll find at the 4 month check. ((Renae was 12lb 4oz and 24in))

Jack is growing so fast! He LOVES to talk and interact with us. So far that is leaps and bounds more social than Renae (she was so serious, we were lucky to get 10 smiles out of her before she was 6 months old). He's sleeping through the night and has been for a couple weeks now! He also takes excellent naps so we are very thankful to have 2 sleepers! As I type Jack is singing a song. :) He's so cute.

Renae is talking a lot. Full thoughts and sentences! Unfortunately, they usually end in a question and I have no idea how to answer them because it's all in gibberish. I'm pretty sure she's learned more Chinese than English. :) But it's really cute. She is so serious when she talks to you. And the last word is always No?? as a question. Ha! That's generally my first clue that she thinks I SHOULD say no, but maybe I won't. She's a running machine, she loves to play on our tredmill too. All her toys take their turn up there during the day. Her favorite toys right now are some stacking/nesting cups, a wagon full of mega blocks (which for the most part stay in there and get a free ride around and around the house), and books. She also has nearly instantly become a Toy Story fanatic. We had some friends over for supper last Friday and their kids (9 and 5) wanted to watch Toy Story 2. We have a wet wipes container with Buzz and Woody on it and she carries it around and points to them over and over again and then to the TV and then says No?? ha ha

We finally sold the Pontiac! We are really loving our new minivan but were sad to see the Yac go. Our first car. :( But it has a great new home so we don't feel too badly about it. And since we sold it to some friends we'll probably see it regularly.

Other than that, we have really been bad about finishing moving in. We've had the same 5 boxes to unpack for the last 3 weeks. Soon! I'm sick of looking at them! Then I'll try to find a way to show you our new place. I still can't get pictures to work, so maybe I'll do a movie!
