We are enjoying summer! :) Even though we know HOT and sticky is coming, GA weather is so wonderful. Josh and I were discussing how many times we've said that since we've lived here. Besides intense heat for 2-3 months, the rest of the year is perfect. And beautiful! :)

Josh and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on May 13th. After several days of getting home from work after 7 (sometimes after 9:30pm), Josh left work at 3 (!!!) we dropped Renae off at some friends house in time for an early supper (at the Italian Oven, I've been wanting to take him there forever- its sooo good.) and then we were off to a Braves game! :) The Braves played the Phillies, and lost, but it was a good game. At least the action was spread throughout the game- we had wanted the Braves game experience since we've moved here, and he surprised me with tickets, it did not disappoint. However, the dad and his 5-6 year old behind us definitely did. We've never heard less intelligent yellers with such piercing boisterous voices. WOW. They did have to take a couple potty breaks which were heaven to our ears. :) Besides them, we had a GREAT time! Complete with fireworks after every Friday night home game!

Then Saturday we went over to the house of one of Josh's buddy's from work. Their pool is open so we (minus me- no one wants to see that) took a swim! Renae had a great time in the water.

Now we are just two weeks out from Baby!! ((Of course who has time to count days with so much to do!))

Quick Update

-Our camera is broken. We ordered a new one, but it's not here yet. So sadly, no Mother's Day pictures.
-We've made a pretty serious dent in packing up our house, even though the move isn't til July, we're working ahead before the baby comes!
-June 2nd is our scheduled C-section date. Just over 3 weeks left!
-This week the major list cross off is going to be preparing meals ahead for the baby and the move. Our deep freeze is going to be fulllll.
-Renae is trying really hard to tell stories, she'll get right in your face and babble while shaking her head yes. It's all very serious. We have no clue what she's saying.
-The weather here has been fabulous. 80-90s and beautiful! Pools are open, kids are outside everywhere...love it!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! He Is Risen!! What a absolutly amazing reality! We had such a great day celebrating. We started off the day at church, it was PACKED. Which is wonderful because Jesus is worth it. But it was fun to rejoice with so many people and voices around us. After church our friends Jeremy and Audrey invited us to crash their family Easter dinner, so we did and it was fabulous. Audrey's Mom and Grandmother cooked everything and there was so much delicious food. And they made Renae an Easter basket (Also, each adult got a GIANT probably foot tall chocolate bunny--Josh was thrilled). After dinner the dads all went out to hide the 280 (yes 280) eggs that we all stuffed with candy (and there were 6 golden eggs, one for each child with $1 in it!). The egg hunt was CRAZY. Renae had a blast. She of course got distracted a LOT but had a really fun time. She would pick up every egg and shake it. Check out my seriously huge baby belly. HA! After Renae was sufficiently egghausted ha ha, we came home, fed her supper and sent her to bed. Talk about a long day! But it was so much fun.

Renae got spoiled through the mail, too. Check out all the loot from Grandmas and Great Grandmas and friends!

Here You Go! :)

My friend Emily used her talent and skills to take these gems while I was up in Michigan! I'm so thankful because I didn't do this with Renae (however I did take monthly progression pictures), and I haven't taken ANY pictures with Mr. Man. So, now he can have his special picture moment, too. Enjoy!

Thank you Emily! Isn't she great!! :)

Food, Planes, and Inflatables!

Our friends Jeremy and Audrey planned a weekend full of fun for us! Friday night we went out to supper at The Varsity in downtown Atlanta. This establishment has been around for 83 years (Audrey's grandma used to go here after high school football games!) and it was so fun. You get hats, and lots of greasy food in a great atmosphere. Josh was going to be smart and order the only chicken sandwich they had on the menu (grilled chicken deluxe) but we finally talked him out of it. The Varsity is known for their chili...so Josh got a #2 which was a chili cheese dog and a chili burger. ha ha. It was hilarious. If you're going to eat at the Varsity, you'd better eat at the Varsity!

After that we went to the first ever Chick-Fil-A/ Dwarf House (another sit down version of Chick-Fil-A) in Hapeville (Atlanta) for dessert. After that, we drove back towards the house and stopped at the airport to watch planes land. There's a place on the road you can pull over for a few minutes and you literally feel your car shake the planes are so close. The landing runway is probably 100yds away. It was great fun.

Little Dwarf door for the kids:

Saturday, we helped celebrate Gavin's 3rd birthday by going to an inflatables place close to our house. It was so much fun! Renae had a blast, as did the rest of us. See for yourself! (**our camera was low on batteries, so quite of the pictures I though I had taken actually never saved on the camera because it would turn off mid-picture...there were a few of all three of us going down at once and an absolutely fabulous one of Renae and Josh going down a huge slide that I'm really sad about not having, but you can imagine from the rest of them).

Recently, Renae busted out this face. Too bad whenever she made it, whomever she made it to couldn't help but laugh. We're having a hard time teaching her it's not a nice face to make. So funny.
