HUG?

Both kids had doctors appointments yesterday, here's the latest stats!!

Renae: 33 inches tall, 28 lbs 6 oz. One of her new favorite things is to give Jack hugs. She comes over to him and askes, "hug?" which mostly sounds like "ug?". It's really cute.

Jack: 26 inches tall, 15 lbs 6 oz. Jack is rolling over front to back and back to front. Still as smiley as ever!

Art all around

So when moving to this house we decided we were going to put our art up on the walls. We didn't in Atlanta and we were missing our pictures! I had a few spots that were still needing things so I got some canvases and some paint and wha-la! What do you think???

Jack O' Lantern

3 1/2 months old and looks twice his age. :) Until he tries to hold his head up for a long period of time. Jack is a mover and a shaker. Constantly kicking, wiggling, and flailing. He also makes a lot of cute noises...more gurgle-y that cooing. Which I always thought was a weird descripter...to bird-like. But I guess it makes sense. He drools like a champ, can almost turn over, and has legs for miles. He is one TALL boy. His torso fits in age appropriate clothes, but I haven't tried pants yet since it's still at least 85-90 during the day here. He is also a great sleeper, and eats his hands almost as much as he smiles (which is a lot). Renae gives him lots of hugs and kisses and he likes to watch her run around. Also, Jack is a very difficult child to hold. He is very unwilling to bend at the waist, and flexes his back/neck so it's like holding a board. Snuggly Jack doesn't show his face unless he's very tired. He prefers to stand on your lap and talk to (read: drool on) you. This means that he will be going to the nursery much sooner than Renae did for church because my shoulders can not help him stand up for an entire message. Weak sauce I know. But hey, the kid won't sit. He also is not a fan of tummy time. But he is good at it! Can't wait to see what's next for our handsome little man!

The Big Girl

Renae is now closer to 2 than to 1 1/2! WOW!

Renae loves teddy bears, her car, movies (especially Nemo, Buzz, and Mickey Mouse), dancing, and reading books (especially Mickey Mouse!). She says Mommy, Daddy, please, hi, bye bye, night night, Nemo, mouse, and now that I think about, she doesn't say much. But she babbles a lot! She's still a great sleeper, but when she's awake she is very busy! She loves playing with other kids, and gets really excited to play in the nursery at church and during Bible study on Thursdays. Hopefully Jack gets it in gear to play with her soon. She also knows what a bee, a lion, a cat, a dog, a duck, and a bear say. Bears are her favorites. And, she loves to run. Daddy is really excited about that. She runs everywhere. She is so so so much fun. We love her so much!
